Welcome to my teaching portfolio.

My name is Jamie Hawley, and I’m currently a Master’s student in Literature and Literary Theory and GTA at the University of Kansas, where I also completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies, English, and Political Science. My research interests are broad and ever-changing, but always manage to find their way back to fanfiction and fandom studies, as well as the general use of forms and tropes in literature across time. While academia is my first and truest love, in my free time I enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons, writing original fiction, being bad at video games, and bopping to Taylor Swift.
